About
Victoria first developed her passion for mental health care as a crisis support worker at Telephone Aid Line Kingston (TALK), an organization she eventually went on to run as Executive Director in 2010. Motivated by her experiences at TALK, Victoria then pursued her MSW degree at the University of Toronto where she specialized in mental health and developed clinical skills in the treatment, prevention, and education of eating disorders. Currently, Victoria splits her time between Southlake Regional Hospital's Young Adult Eating Disorders Program and her Private Practice, Freeman Therapy. In 2019, Victoria opened "York Wellness", a centre for mental heath care and support in Newmarket, Ontario.
