Victoria Garvin

I have held several seasonal jobs over the years. One working with children, the others working in retail. I have completed two internships through the Connecticut Judicial Branch. I worked at the Waterbury Court Service Center and the Derby Court, alongside the victim advocate. Through these positions, I developed great interpersonal and communication skills by working with and helping individuals with different daily problems. I learned to work under immense pressure while being able to stay organized. I currently hold several leadership positions for campus organizations: Team leader for Accessibility Resource Center, the office who helps children with disabilities transition to campus life; Treasurer for the Gymnastics Club. I also work a part time job at Dunkin Doughnuts. My future goal plans are to be a state victim’s advocate or work in the Naval Criminal Investigation Service (NCIS) victims unit. I am known to bring joy and dedication to every industry I have been a part of and plan on continuing.
