The excellent team working and customer service skills I have developed throughout my career ensure that I am able to build strong working relationships across an organisation, with customers and with suppliers. One of my key strengths, which often draws praise, is my ability to communicate complex technical ideas to audiences of varying technical abilities, this coupled with my willingness to take responsibility for user queries has gained me a reputation of someone who gets the job done with minimal fuss. For the last 3 years in my current role with English Heritage I have been key in delivering the 2 largest projects in the organisation. I managed some of the IT and all of the EPoS requirements for the new Stonehenge Visitor Centre which opened in December 2013. I acted as IT lead in the Commercial Systems Replacement Programme. This saw the replacement of the EPoS system across 102 branches, head office and the warehouse. This project is due to complete in March 2016 and after enjoying the responsibility of covering my line mangers role for 6 months (due to illness) I am now looking for my next challenge.
