I am currently working at Altair Engineering, Bengaluru. Here, I am specializing in the use of Altair`s CAE software tool – HyperMesh and SimLab is the multi-disciplinary finite element pre-processor. Optistruct and Acusolve is FEM solver for structure and CFD analysis respectively. HyperView is multi-disciplinary post-processing tool. GE Flow Simulator is an integrated flow, heat transfer, and combustion system design software (1D CFD). Hyperstudy -multidisciplinary exploration and optimization. The projects that I have worked on in the a)CFD domain include exhaust muffler, radiator,and valve, b) 1D CFD domain include blade cooling, combustion, secondary air, c) Structural domain include thermal analysis in piston cylinder. I have worked at BGR Energy systems. Here, my experience includes independently perform all stages of the Fluid-dynamic, Thermodynamic and Heat Transfer design and optimization process by use of ANASYS Fluent and Excel programing. Assist other departments employee’s for simulation generated results. Generate technical reports and present to internal and external customers. I hold degree in Masters in the domain of Mechanical Engineering from IIT Madras. I have Insightful knowledge about CFD, CAE, Turbomachinery, Advance Heat & Mass Transfer, IC Engine, Refrigeration & Cryogenics, Design of Axial Compressor & Turbine. My Master’s project is computational study of flow in turbine cascade by use of commercial software ANSYS- Fluent.
