Linux Administration :- Installing and configuring Linux OS (Red hat, CentOS, OEL, and Ubuntu) based on the requirement. Monitoring and maintaining Zimbra mail servers. Configuration of Kick start, NFS, SAMBA, DNS, APACHE, DHCP, postfix and SQUID services. Network configuration, creation of virtual interfaces, NIC bonding and trouble shooting. Installation of MacAfee Antivirus and puppet agent on Linux servers. VMware : - Installation of ESXI, vCenter and adding ESXI to vCenter. Managing, creating Virtual machines and Templates. Monitoring the status and health summary of both ESXI hosts and Virtual Machines. Performing vMotion and cloning of Virtual machines. Configuration Cluster, HA and DRS. Creation of host profiles and configuration changes of ESXI hosts. Configuration of vCenter alarms based up on the recommended threshold values. VM templates up gradation based up on the frequently happening issues and patch up gradation on VM templates. Addition of data stores to the ESXI nodes and monitoring the data stores utilization. Replication of VMs from one vCenter to another vCenter through SRM. Servers : - Basic hands on experience on Cisco UCS blade B series server and HP Proliant C7000 blade server. Firmware and ILOM up gradation.Performing Online and offline disk replacement activity.
