Vijay has more than 21 years of industry experience with 20 years on the SAP platform. He is SAP Certified consultant and his skills include SAP BTP, SAP S/4 HANA 2020, SAP HANA, SAP HANA NSE, SAP Fiori, FIORI Elements, ABAP RESTful (RAP), Neptune, ABAP, ABAP OO, ABAP on HANA, SAP Business Workflow, SAP PI 7.0, SAP BI 7.0, ALE & IDOC. Vijay is knowledgeable in various SAP modules including SD, HCM, ESS/MSS, CATS, MM, WM, LE, SRM, EWM & IS-OIL, RLM, FI-CO, PM, and Vistex. Vijay has been working for Universal Music Group(UMG), the world’s leading music company as Senior Technical Lead within the SAP Technical Solutions Architect Team. He is part of the Global IT team and currently is the "Technical Gatekeeper" on complex projects within UMG. Before joining UMG, Vijay was Principal Consultant for Absoft Ltd(Scotland), an SAP Gold partner and consultancy firm since 2008, and managing a team of 12 development consultants. He has been actively involved in the company’s scope of SAP services including SAP implementation, upgrade, roll-out, data migration, and post-implementation support work. He has experience in developing and supporting SAP in a complex, multi-organization, multi-landscape environment. He graduated in 2000 from Mumbai University, India, with a B.E. In Mechanical Engineering and a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Computing from CDAC. Vijay has well-developed communication, planning, and leadership skills. With a results-focused approach, Vijay has extensive team lead experience and excellent client-facing skills. Vijay has gained extensive international experience working on projects in the UK, Singapore, USA, and India; this has influenced his flexible approach to work assignments and his ability to embrace new work challenges. Vijay has experience in managing both offshore and onshore development teams based in different geographical locations. He plans resource allocation for the development team, Mentors junior members of the team, and conducts technical workshops.
