I have over 16 years of IT industry work experience, majoring in the mobile and desktop client side systems development. At Ittiam Systems, I was instrumental (front-end) in productizing 720p Video Decoder and Encoder components, which eventually was part of Motorola’s Droid mobile phones and incidentally, world’s first 720p HD enabled device. I also performed the role of an Android Architect for Ittiam’s Non-Linear Video Editor and NetTribes native (NDK) applications. At Motorola, I spearheaded the design, development and deployment of Motorola’s Software Update / Repair tool on the MacOS and Windows platforms, making use of Java (J2EE) for the application logic (business logic), while abstracting out the native Media Transfer Protocols and USB Drivers. At PathPartner Technology, I embarked on porting Linux based navigation application to Android for the premium yacht smart dashboard market segment, which involved several design changes, tweaks to the AOSP frameworks code base. I successfully led a consultation effort for a German based reputed automotive company for certain GUI / UX feature changes. I pioneered the integration of the ultra wide band (UWB) sensor component in the AOSP at multiple layers of the Sensors framework.
