Vincent Nguyen

As a child, math came naturally and easily for me. When college came around, I chose to pursue a BS in Biomedical Engineering. After obtaining my degree, I began my career in the medical device industry and utilized my engineering background in providing technical support and repairing devices. Concurrently, I began learning about the Quality Management System (QMS). Over 2 years later, I joined another medical device company that presented more opportunities for me to grow and build upon the fundamentals I picked up on the QMS. I started there as a complaint handler, but management quickly realized my potential and over the years, I have expanded on my knowledge of the QMS by participating in third party audits (FDA, FDB, TUV, supplier), gaining familiarity with regulations like ISO 13485:2016 and 21 CFR part 820, preparing and presenting in management review meetings, managing projects associated with compliance and sharpening data analysis methodologies. Also, I obtained an MBA degree while working full-time.
