I am a strong Accounting and Finance professional with a Bachelors in Commerce (Hons.) - Accounting and Finance from Panjab University and a Post Baccalaureate Diploma concentrated in Accounting from Thompson Rivers University. Currently, I am employed as an Associate Financial Advisor with CIBC with a good standing of Mutual Funds Certification (IFIC) and I am a determined and competitive individual who is working towards his Personal Financial Planner (PFP) Designation. In my current position as an Associate Financial Advisor, I am progressing by doing the following: - Managing a portfolio of more than 700 core mortgage clients. - Engaging with my clients on a regular basis to provide needs based financial advice and to attain more business through contact referrals. - Reducing attrition by offering competitive renewal rates. - Providing solutions based advice towards clients needs, such as reducing high interest costs and borrowing amortization by advising on refinancing opportunities. - Accomplishing all 4 quadrant financing planning for my clients, i.e. Lending, investments (retirement), cash management (day to day banking) and insurance needs.
