Over 25 years’ experience in adaptive leadership, social innovation, systems innovation and change, international development teamed with a deep understanding of the value of collaborative approaches that uncover and leverage diverse perspectives and strengths, Vita drives opportunities to co-produce people-powered responses that scale social and economic benefit and contribute to creating equity and equality.With an ability to create connections and environments of mutual understanding, Vita successfully applies principles of co-design, partnership, systems thinking, commercialisation, change management and adaptive leadership to build evidence of new practices and spread and scale people focused and powered responses globally.Her experience spans the Pacific, Asia, Europe and Australia, where in collaborative partnerships she has focused on: - reducing gender based violence;- supporting young people to recreate their futures;- families to gain the confidence, connection and skills they need to make lasting change; and - enabled social enterprises in the global south to build sustainable supply chains into the Australia market.At The Australian Centre for Social Innovation, Vita leads on spreading and scaling new evidenced people powered practices and responses that promote equity and equality whilst delivering economic gains to the broader system.With a strong interest in co-design, social innovation, systems thinking and social entrepreneurship, Vita continues to push the boundaries and explore how these intersect to create new futures that are financially viable, evidence based and sustainable responses to some of society’s most challenging social issues, and create lasting benefit at scale.
