During the three years employment as Telecommunication Engineer in “Roaming Networks” and “Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN)” I managed to extend my theoretical knowledge gained during the studies (School of Electrical Engineering, Department: Telecommunications – Microwave Technique) and acquire advanced practical experience and expertise in area of installing, configuring, testing and integration of wide range of telecommunications transmission devices (SDH multiplexers, DWDM optical links, MSAN and DSALM devices , radio links, GSM and UMTS base stations, etc.).Since I was enrolled in projectized environment, constant striving for excellence, performing tasks in a timely manner and meeting deadlines for the purpose of successful project realisation became part of my personal skill set. Experience of working in a team of experts helped me to develop strong interpersonal skills necessary for such a working environment. Work at Geneko provided me with an opportunity for continual development of both, theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of modern telecommunications. As a Test Engineer I was enrolled in HW/SW testing on Cellular Router Project. With previously gained experience in core network infrastructure I managed to develop highly specific product testing skills which had direct influence on product quality. Equally significant subset of my responsibilities was directed to analysing and testing products which were our direct competitors on the market (more than 30 different products). Apart from product testing I used my previous knowledge of operating systems (Linux and Windows) and active/passive network equipment (CISCO and JUNIPER routers, switches, wireless access points) in several internal projects related to IT infrastructure maintenance. In the atmosphere where continual education in targeted areas was an integral part of my daily activities and excellence is a must it is very interesting to work and develop personally and professionally.
