I am a BCom Economics graduate from NMMU majoring in Business Management with Honours in Business Administration from MANCOSA. I wanted to pursue a career in Financial Markets but because Economics graduates struggle to find their dream jobs in the Eastern Cape, I found work at Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipally as a Business Development Officer within the Directorate of Economic Development and Agencies, which was close enough. I therefore, have vast experience with working with SMMEs and Cooperatives, aimed at their development. I am smart, innovative and a very dedicated go-getter. I am currently working within the political administration of Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality within the Office of the Speaker of Council as a Public Participation Practitioner. The responsibilities of this position are coordinate, facilitate and strengthen communication between Council and the Communities to ensure effective and efficient Public Participation. The monitoring and evaluating efficiency of Public Participation within the Municipality also forms part of they responsibilities of the position. I enjoy working with communities which includes intervening in service delivery protest and petitions to rapidly to address community concerns. Community development is very important to me, hence my interests have always been centered around SMME development and now, service delivery from the municipality.
