Wadim Kurpias

Wadim Kurpias is the Country Manager and the Managing Director for InterHealth Canada business operations in Poland. He is a Polish qualified legal counsel with over 20 years of experience in well known and reputable international law firms. For over 20 years of his legal professional career he has been advising amongst the others the concessionaire on the A-1 motorway project in Poland, Gdańsk-Toruń section. This project with the total of value of 1,6 bln EUR, based on a public-private partnership formula, has successfully reached commercial and financial close during financial crisis in 2008 with Wadim’s deep involvement in the negotiation process. He was also engaged as a legal counsel for negotiating the terms of the construction and operation of PPP two motorway sections in Ukraine, projects in Kazakhstan and Kaliningrad Oblast. He has extensive experience in negotiating various commercial contracts concerning construction and operation of hospitals in the PPP formula, waste to energy projects, public buildings, construction and operation of public roads network and railways, revitalizations of cities and ESCO projects. He was also involved in solving various disputes regarding construction issues and interpretation of concluded agreements. For several years he has been representing all real estate projects of international real estate company in its operations in Poland including well known retail project in the centre of Warsaw – “Złote Tarasy”, office and residential projects – Holland Park and Mogilany in Krakow. For the last 3 years he has been responsible for InterHealth’s business operations in Poland, in particular all operational aspects concerning construction, financing and maintenance of the new PPP poviat hospital in Żywiec together with the provision of medical services. As a strong business leader with vast business experience Wadim is able to address regional challenges as well as opportunities in the healthcare sector.
