What excites me most is when a product or feature release solves the pain point the customer is facing. To accomplish this, communication is essential with stakeholders and team to gather requirements and building towards an insightful product backlog. I have enjoyed many roles during my career in product development, product management, project management, engineering, and team building. My personal and professional experiences have taught me the following about myself: I can create, optimize and ramp up NPI and product deployment. • I am a data person, I conduct data analytics to make decisions. • I put my team and customer at the center of all my actions. • Product management (Product Owner) and Project Management is a never-ending puzzle that I love to be engaged in solving. I can build, lead and grow world-class product teams. • I love to win, but help the team win, and achieving win-win situations gives me more satisfaction. • I built my first team from scratch when I was given the opportunity to lead the banking NPI development. My second team involved building and managing a remote team to address the urgent and fast-changing needs of China banking market. Fast forward I have been tasked to build or rebuild and lead teams ever since. • Today, I am a project leader at Thales-DIS (ex Gemalto) leading NPI development for three business lines, banking & payment, government, and enterprise & cyber security. I educate, refine and drive myself to be a better person. • I am constantly learning new skills and knowledge via LinkedIn Learning and Udemy courses. It is amazing to have access to an abundance of information at my finger tip. • I coach “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” for my organization, to inspire individuals to be proactive, independent and effective. • I am an active speaker and evaluator of my organization’s Toastmasters club since 2013. Volunteered for many club officer roles including VP – Education, Secretary and Treasurer.
