Over the course of my career at KPMG, I have been focused on driving sound methodology and continuously improving the quality of the firm’s audit work—around the world. As the Global COO for Quality, Risk & Regulatory for KPMG, I established risk management policies and practices for 145 member firms worldwide and assisted those firms in addressing regulatory complexities and overcoming reputational challenges. In the last seven years, I have led the firm’s risk management efforts through major times of crisis and change. I worked diligently to ensure the health of the firm and its employees through the challenges of the global COVID-19 pandemic and assisted in the firm’s separation from KPMG Russia as a result of the Ukrainian conflict.Previously, I modernized the firm’s comprehensive audit approach as the Global Head of Audit Methodology and Implementation. Leading a multidisciplinary team of more than 600, I directed the strategic development and three-year phased global deployment of an innovative, digital audit workflow that revolutionized the audit process. Earlier in my career as a Lead Audit Partner in Silicon Valley, I regularly advised clients on high-profile mergers and IPOs. My deep accounting, auditing, and regulatory knowledge advanced me to multiple technical positions including a designated SEC Reviewing Partner and KPMG’s representative on the PCAOB’s Standing Advisory Group. An active supporter of my alma mater, Auburn University, I have served in a variety of board roles with the University’s foundation and its Harbert College of Business.
