Wan Feng

Dr. Wan Feng has been the President of China Life Insurance Co. Ltd., since September 2007 and also serves as its Acting Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Wan serves as Deputy President of China Life Insurance (Group) Company. He has served as Deputy President of China Life Insurance Company Ltd. He served as a Vice President of China Life Insurance Co. Ltd. from 2003 to September 2007. Prior to joining China Life in connection with the restructuring, he served as a Vice President of China Life Insurance (Group) Company (CLIC) and General Manager of its Shenzhen branch since 1999. He served as General Manager of the Shenzhen branch of PICC Life from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, Dr. Wan served as Senior Vice President of Hong Kong branch of Tai Ping Life Insurance Company and as an Assistant President of Hong Kong branch of CLIC and Vice General Manager of life insurance Department of Jilin provincial branch of PICC. He served as Deputy General Manager of PICC Jilin Municipal Branch Company, Deputy General Manager of Life Insurance Division of PICC Jilin Provincial Company, Assistant to General Manager of China Life Hong Kong Branch Company, Senior Deputy General Manager of Taiping Life Insurance Co., Ltd. Hong Kong Branch, General Manager of China Life Shenzhen Branch Company, Deputy General Manager of China Life and General Manager of Shenzhen Municipal Branch Company. Dr. Wan has been an Executive Director of China Life Insurance Co. Ltd. since June 16, 2006 and China Life Property and Casualty Insurance Company Limited since November 2006. He has been a Director of China Life Asset Management Company Limited since January 2006 and China Life-CMG since 1999. He serves as Director of China Life Pension Company Limited, China Life Charity Foundation, the Deputy Director of China Association of Actuaries, the Deputy Director of Insurance Association of China, the Executive Director of Insurance Institute of China and Director of China Insurance Guarantee Fund Committee. He has been Director at China Guangfa Bank Co., Ltd. (aka GuangDong Development Bank Co. Ltd) since March 17, 2009. He served as a Director of Hong Kong branch of Tai Ping Life Insurance Company. He has 27 years of experience in the life insurance industry, and was awarded special allowance by the State Council. Dr. Wan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Jilin College of Finance and Trade, Master of Business Administration Degree from Open University of Hong Kong and also holds a Doctorate in Finance from Nankai University in Tianjin. Dr. Wan also holds a Ph.D in Economics and is a Senior Economist.
