WORK HISTORY ______________________________ 2006 to present, Weigel’s Corporation General Manager: • Turned underperforming store with 5%+ shrinkage to One of the top performers in the chain. • Served as training store for new managers and assistant managers. 2002 to 2005, Amerada Hess Corporation General Manager: • Recruited by Hess Corp to bring one of their high volume stores back in line. • Increased sales, reduced shrinkage and enhanced overall operation and appearance of two of their highest volume stores in the county. 2001 to 2002, Radiant Group LLC General Manager: • Managed 2 locations simultaneously for 1year until stores were converted from company operated to leased units. Continued with the company as a floating manager until recruited by Amerada Hess. 1990 to 2001, BP/Amoco Oil (and subsidiary Split Second) 1998 to 2001 General Manager: Managed several locations over 3 year period, was responsible for turning around 4 under-performing locations and eventually became General Manger of 2 stores with staff of 40. • Went into underperforming stores and turned them into profitable sites by addressing staffing and theft issues, implemented strict inventory control, improved sales by better adherence to company marketing plans and made stores more inviting to customers by maintaining a high level of cleanliness and improving associate friendliness through teambuilding exercises. • Improved training consistency for the division by implementing a centralized training program for new employees and management trainees using company supplied materials. QUALIFICATIONS • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Knowledgeable in a variety of POS and back office systems, comfortable learning new systems and software • Have experience with the following franchises: Pizza Hut, Subway, God Father Pizza, McDonalds, TCBY, Blimpie as well as an un-branded deli.
