I am a Registered Dietitian currently contracted by the Aga Khan University Hospital and Avenue Healthcare to offer nutrition therapy services in Nairobi. I have 6 years’ experience of successfully assessing, diagnosing, intervening and monitoring patients’ health needs and formulating effective diet plans taking into consideration both cost and client preferences. Also, I am well versed in weight management as well as nutritional management of chronic diseases such as diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. I have practical experience in nutrition education and have given health talks on television, Citizen tv and K24 and to corporate clients such as Safaricom. Moreover, I have educated over 4000 clients on lifestyle modification through individualized nutrition education and counseling inclusive of home-care visits. I have offered supervised practice for interns thereby contributing to their development and success.
