RESEARCH/PROJECT EXPERIENCE: 1. Global Filter System Implementation, in 2019: Implemented some server-based function of a Global-filter system in Ruby, based on Mastodon, a Distributed social network. This function allows the users of the social network help to manage their server. 2. Image Segmentation and Graph Clustering, in 2019: Designed and implement a graph clustering method to test the result of clustering algorithm, then implement Normalized cut algorithm and compare the effectiveness of two algorithms, results show that for cartoon image the algorithm we designed is better. 3. Detect and prevent attack towards Software-Define Networks, in 2018: Designed and reproduce the attack towards Software-Define Networks(SDN), then find some effective ways to detect those attacks and try to prevent them. 4. Docker Container Monitoring System, in 2017: Implemented a system in go to monitor performance data and resource usage in Container, incl. Data collecting, displaying and alerting. 5. Smart Car Race Contest, in 2016: Designed and implemented a smart car in Verilog which could run in the track on its own strategy, including 3 parts: receiving and analyzing circumstance, applying strategy, and executing the action in the formal strategy. Achieved the 4th place of total 117 groups. PUBLICATION 1. Co-author: Li Z, Xing W, Xu D, "Detecting Saturation Attacks in Software-Defined Networks". ISI, 27 December 2018: This paper presents an anomaly detection method, called SA-Detector, for dealing with a family of saturation attacks. SA-Detector builds upon the study of self-similarity of OpenFlow traffic, which has shown that the normal and abnormal traffic patterns between the controller and the OpenFlow switches have different characteristics.
