I like to create and fix things. I create my first electronic stuff, which is a flip-flop LED lights when I was 9 years old. I have built and customize my own physical servers using 2 PCs, use identical drives configured as RAID 5, configured 2 modem pool with each of them consists of 16 Wavecom modems, connected to each server using serial port extender. They used to host apps that act as a server to manage mobile phone credit top-ups of all carriers. I was starting my business as a phone credit master dealer. My customers are primarily end-user resellers. I have been a private teacher to some high schools students in certain areas, such as mathematics, physics, and computer science. I remember using Harvard CS50x to teach a high school student who aims to go to BINUS University. I have taken some freelance projects related to my skill at that time. Creating back end apps, adding functionalities, fixing bugs, code rewrites, and provide consultation to client for a solution to clients app which have problems. I have been taking several small and unusual projects from clients that need me to do something I haven't thought before, such as continuous web scraping to other websites to get some data easily, reverse engineered android apps to search for possible vulnerabilities that could be exploited, and to create another one with the same functionality, using their data. Not that I am proud of it, but it gives me perspective I have never thought before. I take the positive side and still hold my integrity. Finally, I enter to my formal job, not to think that it was too late. Coding many kinds of apps and modules, building teams of software engineers, coaching, mentoring, leading and managing them. I do lots of things now, such as research, planning and designing application architecture in a distributed and highly concurrent system, able to scale quickly, migrate and streamline apps into the cloud, refactor monolith apps into micro services, presenting POC for proposed changes, creating postmortem, helping a tech company in early stages in IT aspects, proposing Cloud Architecture ecosystem that would fit into the organization with BCP for some scenarios. Reviewing and proposing policies to be enforced in, reviewing and provide feedback on IT aspect of vendor MOU and legal agreement. I think I am an IT generalist with some areas of expertise. Expertise: Java, Golang, Cloud Architecture, microservices and its patterns. Business sector: e-Commerce, Retail, FMCG, Financial, including securities and cryptocurrency. Continuous Learning is what I do now.
