Wendy McDonald

Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer for Inclusion Alberta. I am responsible for implementing and overseeing a fund development initiative that in fifteen years has generated 9 Million dollars. In addition to fund development I co-founded and oversee the Rotary Employment partnership. This successful initiative is now generating interest from around the world and has created close to 800 jobs for individuals with intellectual disabilities across Alberta. The partnership has been internationally recognized for its success and innovation. I received Rotary International's Highest Honour, the Service Above Self Award, in recognition of the success of the Rotary Employment Partnership in June of 2020. I am incredibly proud of this partnership that has changed the lives of so many companies as well as individuals with intellectual disabilities. I have served as President of the Board for the GRIT Program, Inclusion Alberta and the Rotary Club of Edmonton Mayfield. I currently support the D5370 and D5360 Rotary Employment Partnership Committees. I co-chaired the Rotary D5370 district conference in 2021. I have over thirty years experience as a Senior Leader. I am recognized for my ability to establish and maintain long term effective partnerships and relationships. For 15 years I was President of a consulting firm which specialized in staff training and leadership development.
