Wesley Fagan

Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, I studied Visual Communication and Human-Computer Interface at the National College of Art and Design, Dublin, and Ballyfermot Interactive College. I now call Sydney home - the city where my wife and I are raising our two children. I am nearing 20 years of experience living and breathing within the design landscape. Having held senior leadership positions across many sectors, including technology, financial services, telecommunications, software, advertising, service design, and branding - Design is a discipline and competency that I am truly passionate about. I have had the privilege within my roles to work across iconic brands, including Nike, Cochlear, Telstra, Commonwealth Bank, McDonald’s, TAB, Coles, Inspire Group and Vodafone. Within this work, creating inspiring human-centric products and designs has always been the leading factor, delivering transformative execution and outcomes. The period between 2014-2022 has seen myself and my teams receive some 16 awards - most recently, Good Design Awards for Product & Industrial Design in 2021 and 2022. Within my senior leadership roles, I have a proven history of setting ambitious yet clear commercial goals across numerous product launches, and growth. While I aim to deliver beautiful, thoughtful design practices across all projects I work on, it is the intersection of human-centric, digital experience that, I feel, brings my work to life and how design as a craft is communicated and practised across the companies I have worked within.
