I'm currently working in IT within the fast-paced hospital setting with Novant Health. I'm also working on completing a second bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, and I'm a rising senior in the program. I initially became interested in coding, scripting, and network security while working on a project in my previous position where I worked the IT support desk for German-speaking clients. My experience in the IT field has given me a broad overview of IT infrastructure and familiarility with both the technical side of IT functions and business operations. I have familiarity and experience with the following: *coding in Python, C++, Java, with examples of coding projects available via Github upon request; *powershell scripting, and running scripts to automate IT processes; *networking principles and protocols, and the Cisco suite of networking tools; *business practices of IT asset management; *security principles and practices within an enterprise environment; *project management using an agile methodology; *data visualization and virtualization; *cloud security; *vulnerability and risk analysis; *kill chain analysis. Various school related projects have included: creating a web app using Django framework to detect intrusion attacks; working on a project implementing Powershell scripting for creating admin functions within a VM environment; SQL injection projects involved in penetration testing; packet sniffing, port scanning, and delivery of malware using Kali Linux OS; creating and implementing firewall functions within the Windows/Windows Server, Linux, and CoinOS environment; key logging; blocking RFID; cipher cracking projects; and creating AES encryption algorithms for passing cleartext and images into an ecrypted state.
