Whitney A. Stormberg

I’m a nonprofit professional with an electrifying passion for connecting with people and unifying organizations to assist underserved communities. I began my career in the nonprofit sector driven by a desire to always work for an organization whose mission is to improve the surrounding community. Through my service work and career, I’ve provided both hands-on and operational assistance for projects that serve disadvantaged communities. Over the past six years, I’ve sharpened my technology and finance skills, fine-tuned my communication skills both internally and with external stakeholders, and gained a critical understanding of nonprofit functionality. As an enthusiastic individual who values and enjoys working with colleagues and other organizations toward common goals, I always work on developing good relationships and understanding the needs of those I'm working with and those the project aims to serve. Through daily cross-department collaboration, I gain knowledge about various projects within the organization and utilize this information to provide step-by-step-planning & hands-on support, following and adapting depending on the always-changing environment. This helps to elevate the overall work of the org and reach our initiatives. As someone who enjoys national and international community engagement, I utilize DEIA (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Anti-Racism) practices and my learnings of different cultures and communities to unify people from different backgrounds for a common cause. The brief aims to stimulate the development and continuous improvement of student SEL direct assessments, as well as the impact of such assessments.
