About
My professional experience primarily is in the area of business management. Before completing my Ph.D., I owned my own business. As a company in the service industry, I spent the majority of my time focusing on human resource issues. I developed staffing plans, training and development programs, and compensation plans. Throughout my professional career I have had a strong appreciation for the value of human capital resources in achieving a competitive advantage. It were these experiences that influenced much of my research in my academic career. As an academic, I have taught courses on Strategic Human Resources, Competitive Strategy, Human Resources, Organizational Behavior and Staffing.
