My professional journey has been entertaining and rewarding thanks to the help and guidance of many exceptional mentors along the way.I am privileged to have a career trajectory that spans three decades in the high-tech domain, with positions of influence including Corporate Officer at GE, Chief Technology Officer at Meridium, Vice President of Software and Developer Evangelism at Juniper, and General Manager of Visual Studio, Developer Evangelism, and Partner Enablement at Microsoft.My roles have been diverse, yet all geared towards leading high-performing engineering teams to build software solutions. These solutions not only generate over $1 billion in annual revenue but have also resulted in cost savings and risk avoidance exceeding $1 billion for our industrial and manufacturing partners.A key responsibility of mine has been the judicious management of a $250M R&D budget, directing an ambitious workforce of 2,500 employees, ensuring a successful startup exit, and driving a substantial 20% increase in market share for cloud-based products. Additionally, my leadership efforts have resulted in a 25% increase in revenue for IoT, connectivity, and security solutions.Beyond the corporate sphere, I extend my passion to aiding startups, promoting job creation, and energizing the local economy, giving away numerous hours of my time in service of these causes.
