William Bock

William’s primary job is the EJHS director of bands. He teaches both a 7th & 8th grade band, as well as the EJHS Big Band Jazz Ensemble, and the Glennwood Jazz Band. He studied instrument Repair under Chuck Hagler and Lenny Sable, and owns a small instrument repair shop out of his home. In addition to his musical interests, he also is employed by Vail Resorts as the assistant director of Ski Patrol at Big Boulder Ski area. He is very involved in the education program there and in the National Ski Patrol system as an instructor in the following disciplines: Outdoor Emergency Care, Outdoor Emergency Transportation, and Instructor Development. He has recieved both a yellow merit star( service in education) as well as a blue merit star ( assisting in saving a human life), William also has recieved a National Appointment for these accreditation’s. William is also an active Martial Artist, and holds a level of Sam dan (3rd degree black belt) in the World Tang Soo Do Association. He helps to teach as a Level III Instructor under Master Thomas Richards Yuk Dan at Pocono Tang Soo Do. William is currently seeking to start his EdD in Education.
