I have over 15 years of experience working in software development with huge companies. Currently, I work as a Senior Analyst Programmer for KPMG developing software solutions for Morrisons, one of the biggest chains of superstores in the UK. I really enjoy using Java technologies like Java servlets, JSPs and Java Spring. In my time at KPMG I have worked on the full spectrum of software activities including development, testing and support. I have also enjoyed working on various technologies including Oracle database projects and I have worked on Microsoft Dynamics for 3 years but I really enjoy developing using Java more than anything else. In fact my enthusiasm for Java goes back 20 years and I passed the Sun Java 2 Certification in 2000 and reached the final of the Scottish entrepreneurship competition for a 3 tier Java system that I designed and developed for public libraries in 2001. This enthusiasm for Java still continues today and in August 2020 I passed the Java 8 Oracle Certified Associate exam.Previously, I was a software developer at Aviva in England, one of the biggest insurance companies in the world and previous to that I was also a Software developer at ACI Solutions, where I developed Java ATM software for American Express and Visa and I was sent on specialised training to Cape Town, South Africa.Competencies: Java, Java Servlets, JSPs, Spring Boot, SQL, HTML, CSS, JUnit, Microsoft Dynamics, X++
