William Henker

Mr. Henker is an outstanding performer with excellent interpersonal, communication skills and is able to establish good rapport with people on all levels. He is an experienced computer and communications professional skilled in installing and managing antivirus/anti-spyware products, to include Host Based System Security software (HBSS) as well as local and wide area network computer and communications systems utilizing both proprietary and open system protocols. As an Intrusion Prevention Analyst, Mr. Henker provides signatures, software and support for anti-virus and intrusion prevention system products Air Force wide. He also assists Intrusion Response and Detection analysts by interpreting anti-virus logs. Mr. Henker was responsible for modifying the UNIX shell scripts to automatically download signatures, modify file permissions and delete older signatures. As a Senior Mission Director, Mr. Henker was responsible for assisting intrusion detection efforts with correlation analysis utilizing ArcSight and reviewing possible incidents to determine further action. As an ASIM Near Real Time Lead Analyst, he provided leadership for the resolution of technical, analytical, or administrative problems. As a Near Real Time and Site Analyst Mr. Henker performed near real-time intrusion detection and response Air Force wide utilizing the Automated Security Incident Measurement (ASIM) intrusion detection sensor and director. As the Manager of the Intrusion Detection Team he was responsible to make sure the analysts were adequately trained and equipped to detect and respond to network intrusions, attacks and probing activity. As the Manager of Computers and Communications Mr. Henker provided guidance and support to the Groups subordinate intelligence units reporting to the only Intelligence Wing in the Air Force. As an Intelligence Network System Administrator, he supervised ten personnel and administered the $66M USSTRATCOM Intelligence Network.
