I am the CEO of the one of the world's largest animal welfare certification companies. We also provide customized risk management solutions to companies seeking to verify product attributes in a global trade environment.Prior to running EarthClaims LLC I practiced law in the U.S. and overseas at Covington & Burling LLP focusing on marketing claim substantiation disputes in U.S. federal court and related administrative government controversies. I advised global companies on market access issues, particularly with regard to organic and natural food and cosmetic products in the U.S., E.U., and China.Prior to Covington I worked on digital competition policy issues and served as Chief of Staff and Senior Counsel to FCC Commissioner Gloria Tristani. I have also had the pleasure of teaching courses at Duke University Law School and Tsinghua University in Beijing, China.
