William Lee

My life experience has always been grounded in physical fitness and nutrition. As a 3 times Golden Gloves Champion, I have first hand knowledge in the power of keeping the body physically fit, nutritionally sound, and mentally strong. My objective in life, now, is through my passion to share this knowledge with our youth. Through my non-profit organization, Guiding Light, Inc., we are and continue to create programs directed at the young people of our community that are experiencing numerous set backs in life. Our programs teach how being physically fit and practice good nutrition allow the mind to form lifelong tools. We teach them how to evaluate, analyze, make a decision, form a plan, then execute through obstacles they must approach and over come in the gym. The final outcome at the end of the programs are always to have the young people build confidence in themselves. This objective can be brought back into the home and shared with siblings. We work to secure job opportunities in the community for our program graduates. Guiding Light, Inc., also actively participates in holiday season food giveaways collaborating with local churches and other non-profit groups.
