William Nsubuga

With an accounting background and a working experience as an auditor in the hotel industry, I'm currently engaged with the IT Management program as a teaching assistant and member of the IT Management Research Group at the Department of Applied Information Technology, University of Gothenburg. Dealing with the challenge of complexity as organizations spend huge sums of money on IS and IT together with the poor alignment of IT and business strategies in achieving organizational goals has made the field of Enterprise Architecture more relevant nowadays. In addition, the process of translating business vision and strategy into effective enterprise change and development puts Enterprise Architecture at the forefront. Consequently, understanding the concept of Enterprise Architecture and its influence on enterprise development in today's complex business world is increasingly becoming an area of interest for me. Therefore, my current area of research is to investigate the value of Enterprise Architecture in a proactive enterprise development context.
