I'm William (nickname JP) and student growth is the underlying purpose for everything I do. I'm an educator with common sense who brings 20+ years of teaching and educational leadership. I'm driven by a desire to improve the education of students. Dedicated to providing excellent and fair education for all students. A proven collaborative leader who focuses on instructional leadership and bringing together school leaders to enhance what each of us is able to do to best serve students. I work hard to prepare students for today’s global society by incorporating the principles of English for International Understanding, World Englishes, and Multicultural Education into the classroom teaching materials of students for intercultural understanding. Strong leadership and organizational skills that makes use of available, limited resources to maximize opportunities for teachers to grow as professionals using research-based best practices in instruction and leadership My leadership qualities include a relaxed, pleasant personality with a healthy sense of humor, effective communication skills with the ability to organize, delegate, and empower in a fair and consistent manner. Leadership strengths developed during my years in the military and throughout my teaching journey. I have learned to take care of people, listen to everyone, and remain calm under intense pressure. I lead with integrity and always give 100% effort to every venture. My skills are best exercised for schools that strive to equip students to develop academically and provide pastoral support to ensure all students reach their full potential using the most effective strategies in teaching, pastoral care, educational leadership, staff development, curriculum design, teacher training, teacher mentoring, instructional design, and much more.
