William K. "Kirk" Rhinehart

A Principal at Royal, Kirk established the Baton Rouge office in 2013. He leads and directs Royal's efforts and strategies for coastal programs throughout the Gulf Coast. He serves as manager and scientific lead for programs and projects in the coastal service line and which includes collaboration with coastal engineering staff on design and construction related matters. Kirk has a broad experience in coastal and environmental sciences, stemming from over 25 years of coastal restoration planning and research. Kirk was the leader in developing Louisiana’s Comprehensive Master Plan and Annual Plan for project budgets and schedules with the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority of LA. His commitment and enthusiasm for the coast is a valuable asset to Royal. Kirk is a graduate of Salisbury State University, MD in 1989 with a BS in Biology/Ecology, and he earned a MS in Oceanography and Coastal Sciences from Louisiana State University in 1994.
