I am currently employed as a pilot (First Officer) for a major FAR Part 121 airline. I am a highly motivated self-starter! I am highly interested in using my vast experience from business systems (SAP and PeopleSoft/Oracle functional analyst), aviation, aerospace, and defense to hone my leadership skills in the cockpit, in operations, and management. I have prior project managment experience in implementing SAP systems (Payroll, Materials Management, AP), and configuration/business process specialist. I also have project leadership experience in implementing multi-national conversion to PeopleSoft from legacy systems to General Ledger, Project Costing, Asset Management (Canadian Business Unit of Harcourt). This includes, but not limited to, eventually getting an MBA with a Supply Chain Management/Logistics focus, as it relates to Aerospace and Defense, and/or Software Integration. I am somewhat interested in financial services, and even the insurance (aviation, health, or life) industry. Leading in the military, managing projects, growing businesses, or managing the cockpit all require a common skill: Leadership! I also have an interest in alternative fuels, biofuels, and green initiatives. I find myself daily using technology(flight management systems) to fly profiles that save the greatest amount of fuel, as quickly and safely as possible.
