I am a strong-willed individual, constantly seeking for continuous learning and to grow with the company. I rose to an Assistant Manager and was sent to Nippon Korea to assist with the new branch setup. My task in Nippon Korea was to coach the operations and customer service team in performing their daily tasks & also fine tune the needed work processes. In Yusen Logistics, I began as an Assistant Manager for Air Export Customer Service & was subsequently promoted to Senior Manager taking care of Operations, Billing & Customer Service. In later year, I joined Kuehne + Nagel as Airfreight Manager, my responsibilities include: To oversee the day to day operations of the air import/export dept. Through planning and directing of work flow, ensuring service expectations of customers & the company are met while also ensuring that all customs procedure & legislative requirements are adhered to at all times. To ensure all billable is billed within the month for revenue & GP achievement & ensure all accruals are done accurately. To provide management with the financial closing report on a monthly basis. To identify potential staff within the team for career path and succession planning. To attend QBR for key accounts, joint sales call with sales to discuss on operational set up and offer feasible operational solutions to customers. To work with cross functional dept. With the objective of delivering customer requirements and expectations. My last appointment with Kuehne + Nagel was National Revenue Care Manager. Responsibilities: To oversee the profitability for the Cluster which comprises of Singapore and Malaysia. Ensuring that the Finance Accounting Policies are adhered to at all times, driving continuous profitability, instilling cost awareness and efficiency across the Cluster Air Logistics organisation. To provide leadership & direction to the Revenue Care Team (RCC) in both countries To identify & structurally resolve performance gaps by collaborating with stakeholders across all departments. To systematically review and reduce the minimum provision for bad debts and write-offs. To analyse country profit + loss sheets along with customer profitability, identifying gaps vs. Financial targets.To identify root cause of issues and propose corrective actions to improve GP, establishing and driving GP improvement plans.
