Nuclear data: - Code usage: NJOY (99+), PREPRO (2002+) - Thorough knowledge of the ENDF (Evaluated Nuclear Data File) format. - Active member of the OECD/NEA Databank WPEC SG38, an international collaboration to establish the new GNDS (General Nuclear Data Structure) format to replace ENDF. - Development of procedures for preparing nuclear data libraries in the ACE and ENDF format used by MCNP(X), MORET 5, ALEPH and VESTA. - Preparation and validation of nuclear data libraries at multiple temperatures based on international nuclear data libraries such as JEFF 3.2, JENDL 4.0 and ENDF/B-VII.1. Competence in neutronics calculation codes: - Code usage: PARTISN, MCNP (5 and 6), MCNPX (2.5.0+), ORIGEN 2.2, FISPACT-II, SCALE, ALEPH, VESTA, MORET5. - Specialised in Monte Carlo based reactor physics and criticality safety calculations, depletion and activation calculations of nuclear reactor systems. Competence in software development: - Programming scientific Windows and Linux applications in Fortran, python, C, C++ and Java. - Software project management: good knowledge and application of general software development QA procedures, version control systems (subversion and git), software configuration build systems (make and Cmake) and software testing procedures. - Development and validation of the ALEPH depletion code at SCK-CEN (2002-2007) and the VESTA depletion code at IRSN (2007-2017) for Monte Carlo based depletion and activation calculations. - Development and validation of the AURORA depletion analysis tool at IRSN (since 2010) for post-processing of depletion calculation results (compositions, reaction rates, activity and decay heat). - Development of the ALEPH-DLG code at SCK-CEN (2002-2007) and the GAIA code at IRSN (2014-2017) to automate the nuclear data processing in NJOY and verify the quality of the data libraries. - The VESTA 2.1.5 and AURORA 1.0.0 software package is currently available from RSICC (ORNL, USA) and the NEA/OECD databank (Paris, France).
