I am an experienced Internal Auditor with a demonstrated history of working in the financial services / banking industry. I am skilled in internal audit, Microsoft Office, tax, and accounting. I have a Higher Certificate in Accounting from Akademia, and I recently completed my Bachelors of Commerce in Management Accounting at Akademia. I have been the Internal Audit Supervisor at Finbond Mutual Bank since March 2019, since starting in the position I have introduced and implemented various efficiency measures including remote auditing and using Microsoft Teams to centralise the audit approach and operations. I also assisted the Head of Internal Audit with drafting the business case for the implementation of GRC software in the IAF and is constantly driving the adoption of technology in the function. I am also a registered member of the IIA. One of my main passions is IT and system audits and I enjoy consulting and collaborating with business on new projects. I have a strong operational understanding, which I regularly put to use when formulating recommendations to address audit findings, control gaps and process inadequacies.
