Winn Osterhout

I graduated from CSI and got married. I drove truck to provide for my family for 6 years. I then switched jobs to operate a finished fuels facility for Tesoro. It later was branched off as a logistics operation. Just last year they changed there name to Andeavor. I have worked there for over 16 years. During my time there I was advance to a senior level in operations and managed many projects. I was responsible for over 15 million dollars in facility equipment. I was named a regional lead for our emergency response spill team. I coordinated with local emergency responders and developed response trainings/plans. I was responsible for taking firefighters from the region to Texas A&M for a week long training annually. I managed inventory and product movements through the facility. I have taken pride in my work and accomplishments. Along with my job I became a Firefighter at our local Department. I served as treasurer, Assistant Chief, and currently I hold the position of Fire Chief over the Department. We have grown from 10 employees to 18 employees. I oversee operations and budgeting of over 2 million dollars of equipment. I write grants and budget our operations. I work budgets through the County Commissioners and Mayor. I am also involved as an Assistant Coach at Declo High school. I have coached for 15 years. Since becoming a varsity coach we have been in 6 of the last 8 State Championships winning 3. Also becoming the first staff in schools history to qualify for a championship game. I am very motivated and love the community in which I live. I work hard and do not like to disappoint those that are depending on me. I love my family and the outdoors.
