High-performing construction & manufacturing professional with 25 years+ of wide-ranging experience, having worked for both major and specialist contractors. With a deep understanding of Tier 1 contracting coupled with off-site knowledge around modern methods of construction (MMC), lean, digitisation and productivity.Worked at Kier for 20 years before joining Severfield (UK) in 2014 as managing director, the largest structural steel designer and fabricator in the UK, delivering signature projects such as Tottenham’s new stadium; Goldman Sachs new HQ; and 22 Bishopsgate. Since returning to Kier in 2019, he has led the North & Scotland regional business, and from May 2023 now heads up a new function, Construction & Engineering. This function oversees the operational performance of all UK projects within the Construction business and also has P&L accountability for its Strategic Projects business, with current projects including HMP Millsike, in Yorkshire.Customer focused, with clear ambitions to support wider rollout of MMC and digitisation across the construction industry. Passionate about being a responsible business, with responsibilities for sustainability approach within the Construction business.
