Xavier Robinson

Call me Zay! I am an aspiring sports producer and filmmaker. I am a senior at Baylor University and will graduate this upcoming Fall 2023 semester. I am a military veteran, serving the U.S. Army. As a logistics specialist. In doing so, I accounted for equipment and distributed equipment to small arms organizations under my headquarters. While at Baylor, I worked for Baylor Vision, where we produce live sporting events for broadcast and arena experience. I have worked as a camera operator during Baylor's Men's Basketball National Championship campaign. I have worked as a lead replay operator. I have also created content of game highlights for social media campaigns and marketing. I have created and helped in the production of multiple short films and a screenplay. My positions varied - Director, AD, Videographer, Actor, and Sound Mixer. I also serve as Vice President of the Nu Zeta chapter of Phi Beta Sigma. I am responsible for new member intake, event planning, fundraising, and providing service to the community and mentorship to the youth of the greater Waco area. I also serve as the social media chair for the Baylor chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists. With NABJ, I provide content creation and marketing. I intern at Extraco Events Center where I serve as a marketing and promotions intern. At Extraco, I provide photography, videography, and content creation for marketing campaigns.
