Yael Wiener

With over 15 years of experience in strategy, innovation, sales, and business development, I am clear about my love and success at working with people in fast paced innovative environments. As the Chief Strategy Officer at Lanez, a startup that uses computer vision data to optimize road and sidewalk management, I led the strategy and sales and worked with a variety of stakeholders in both the private and public sectors.Some of my previous roles include co-founding and managing an innovation hub, toi.lab, that funded thedevelopment of technologies for children, leading an innovation project at ADAMA, a petrochemical producer, that integrated Microsoft's enterprise social network, and working on public-private partnerships for smart city projects at Panta Rhei. Most of my successes involved not only competing with existing offers but also "expanding the pie", that is generating demand where there wasn't one before. These experiences have taught me how to leverage existing forces, overcome the fear of change, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders across sectors and industries. I believe in deep listening, I learn quickly, and I love working with teams on using the knowledge they already have.
