I am an active agent for positive change, always looking for a way to make the process a bit more efficient, while maintaining accuracy. It's important to focus on mission success instead of any one small part of the process.I have experience in supervising the period-end close, consolidating financial statements with subsidiaries, preparing and presenting financial reports to upper management and board of directors, including budget preparation and comparison. Current priorities include all accounting functions including payroll and cash management.I'm currently using a non-profit accounting application called AccuFund for accounting functions and I process payroll through ADP WorkForce Now Online. I've used QuickBooks Pro for all aspects of Biznet's finances. Previously, I was utilizing Hyperion Financial Management, Fusion Edition to submit budgets and financial results at Hercules Machine Tool. In addition, I have experience with Made2Manage ERP software Great Plains, and Peachtree as well as a custom-off-the-shelf application running on an AS400 system.My experience with payroll processing includes QuickBooks, ADP WorkForce Now Online and Sage Abra HRMS human resource management system.I am familiar with advanced tax preparation software, including Thomson Reuters OneSource and Abra FAS fixed asset software and have completed tax returns by hand without such assistance.My current position requires substantial focus on approval process and document support for all transactions. I have had experience creating and maintaining JSOX (Japan Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance, including risk assessments and business continuity planning.Specialties: Financial statement preparation, analysis and reporting.
