After 12+ years in financial industry and spending most of it in customer facing roles and commercial underwriting (CRE) I pivoted my career to focus on risk and compliance with elements of project management. As a driven detail-oriented individual with exemplary communication and time management skills I am enjoying the challenges that this new career change is bringing me. Starting my career in retail banking and moving into a new position year over year taught me the importance of continuous learning and self development. Over the years I was nominated and attended many valuable courses including Transformational Leadership, Situational Leadership, LEAD Advance San Diego, Accounting certifications and many others.The continuous growth allowed me to acquire new skills, meet some great leaders, expand my knowledge and critical thinking while staying truth to my core values.My diverse educational background coupled with cross functional experience in various departments allows me to apply my existing skill set to new opportunities as well as quickly acquire new proficiencies and competencies.
