Yarden Hamber

Yarden Hamber is a graphic designer based in Israel. She combines traditional graphic design elements with photography and typography. Using her keen eye for aesthetics, typography, composition, layout and color, she is able to provide unequivocally distinctive visual stories. Her final project at Shenkar was "Twinning", which was extremely successful. “Twinning” reflected in photographic language the symmetry, connection, love and dislike between twins with each frame highlighting a slightly different view of how twins identify themselves. It was featured in an article in the daily newspaper, Ha’aretz, on the website Ha-Makon.co.il called “The Hottest Place in Hell”, in Time-Out Israel, an entertainment magazine, and she also participated in an interview on the TV show, “Paula and Leon” talking about the project, “Twinning”. She was also chosen to participate in an exhibit in Old Jaffe, Israel called “Going Out”. This exhibit chose works by the best 2017 graduates from the academies and the schools of art and design. She competed with selected projects in the International Photography Festival in 2017 and was chosen for her photography project for the best stories of the year 2017 on Israel's photography blog. Her attention to detail and creative ideas lead to work that amazing and diverse.
