 Handling outward remittances [both import and non-import] for individual / corporate customers of around 50 branches of IDBI Bank based in western suburbs  Direct import documents and import documents received under collection basis. Remittances including advance import payment, remittances for investments in WOS, payment of export overseas agent commission, remittances for non-import & LRS related outward remittances  Follow-up with customers for submission of Bill of Entries after advance import payments to facilitate clearance of the same in IEDPMS Export Desk : • Release of Packing Credit / Post Shipment Credit • Purchase / negotiation of export bills after thorough scrutiny of documents • Follow-up for realization of export proceeds and ensure proper maintenance of the record for claiming reimbursement on due dates • Advising of LC’s after thorough scrutiny • Handling Forward Contracts Other responsibilities : • Monitoring Suspense Accounts and Nostro reconciliation of transactions pertaining to Trade Finance Dept- Bangalore. • Handling SWIFT communication for inward and outward messages • Working closely with Treasury Team in processing and monitoring the transfer of funds • Performing lodgement and settlement of Foreign Currency cheques • Handling inward remittances for both export and non- export transactions • Driving the income as well as business targets for the assigned region
