Yasin Shaida

Graduate of Montclair State University. Earned my BA in Justice with a concentration in Paralegal. Planning to attend law school in the next three to five years. Recently completed an internship at the Legal Aid Society in New York, NY. Here I gained practical experience as a paralegal investigating cases, gathering evidence, performing research and drafting correspondence. Previously worked as an intern at a privately owned, complete automotive repair facility. Blessed with opportunity, I gained indispensable experience in management, customer relations, and digital marketing. Five to ten years from now, I plan to be a self-employed lawyer or employed within the federal government doing similar work. Specifically, my interest lies in the Department of Homeland Security. A personal ambition of mine aside from law is to be involved in counter-terrorism intelligence.
