Currently, I focus on pre-clinical study to support clinical trial with candidate drug from Pharm. In the Samsung Biomedical Research Institute, Seoul. I received my M.Sc. And Ph.D. In Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago USA. I then carried out postdoctoral research fellow in finding prognostic biomarker in pancreas cancer and breast cancer bone metastasis at Northwestern University. Moved back to Korea after 13 years of Chicago life, I worked for Neomics Co., Ltd as Senior Scientist in developing Companion Diagnostics kits for Non small cell lung cancer. Specialties: Pre-clinical research in vivo and patient derived primary cell for measuring drug efficacy, Strong scientific background in cancer biomarkers, genomics and signal pathways. Pancreas cancer translational research, Molecular diagnostics, Molecular pathology, novel marker Aminoacyl tRNA synthetase(ARS) and cancer.
