Quickly respond to the new world. The short sentence shapes my unique characterisation: adapting to the new environment as soon as possible. When I am in a new situation, I always remind myself to respond to the new environment as soon as possible. I am an international student, and I face the new environment, including different languages and cultures, in my first year of the college. In order to adapt to the new environment quickly, I ask myself to take action to enter into the new environment. For example, I take some interested classes, like the guitar class, to make friends with local students and senior students, which provides me with an opportunity to learn about the different cultures and attend some social activities, like BBQ and picnic, with them. It helps me to build a strong relationship with local students and senior students and helps me to enter my campus life. Because of the relationship with such students, I get more information about the campus, like the building's location and the class information, both of which helps me to adapt to the new environment quickly. What is more, this summer, I get an internship in Nonfemet International Xilin Industry LTD., which is the new environment for me. Because of responding to the new situation quickly, like familiarising with the building location and quickly building a relationship with my colleagues, helps me adapt to the new environment as soon as possible. Our office can deal with some daily problem, like vouchers and reimbursements, on time. For the task that we received, like the annual report, we can assign the task quickly and finished it timely and efficiently. So, If I find jobs in the future when I graduated, I believe that there is no problem for me to adapt to a new environment or situation quickly, and I get along with my colleagues or teammates well to deal with the problems or task efficiently and timely.
