Since I was a child what I loved to do was fantasize about traveling with the mind, imagine myself in different places exploring the world, and all its facets. This is the reason why, in my family, my name has always been associated with the adjective '' dreamer ''. An adjective that made me proud but at the same time gave me a sense of narrowness within the canons of my small native town, in Sicily. Over time, growing up and becoming more aware of the reality around me, the adjective attributed to me, turned out to be a burden, that tried to instill in me the thought of how, for those of humble origins, having a dream life is impossible. I have always worked hard to emerge socially and culturally, a goal carried out thanks to resourcefulness and small sacrifices. Working as a bartender has given me a lot, like the knowledge that it is not the job I would like to do all my life. Despite everything it has: - Taught me to listen to others - Made me understand the meaning of the term team working - Provided me with organizational and managerial skills To open up new paths, I started a university of languages at the Kore University of Enna, studying mainly English and Arabic. The first choice was made to be able to know my origins, half Australian, the second for the fascination that its complexity aroused in me. The latter has played a fundamental role in my life, helping me to be more confident in myself and teaching me not to give up at the first difficulties. Honestly speaking, a language degree, without a concrete specialization, I knew would not take me where I wanted. For this reason, I chose to undertake the master's degree program in Strategic Communication at the IULM University of Milan, a new world for me that I hope will allow me to achieve great things. Thanks to my determination and courage I am slowly transforming that nickname into a "maker - creator", demonstrating to the whole world, but first of all to myself, my value and that you can always fight to achieve your desires.
